Look Into My Eye

If only looking into its eye would make you a millionaire... For your information, the image is that of a close up of a GBP20 note.

Nelly G

Set in an office environment, we had the opportunity to photograph the lovely Nelly G. No studio lighting was present and lighting was handled through the external flash in a bounced setting.

Japan Super GT Round 4 @ Sepang International Circuit

I like fast cars. I enjoy cars going at high speeds. I love everyday sports cars being on a proper race track, all modded and roaring to go. That is why I enjoy attending the Japan Super GT Round 4 at Sepang International Circuit. It is the only round outside of Japan. I've been to the event in 2008 and 2009. In 2008, it was the introduction of the Nissan GT-R (R35) while 2009 saw the last season for the Honda NSX.

Broga Hill, Semenyih

Finally able to step on Broga Hill one fine early... very early... morning with my wife and her friends. The weather was great with clear skies. The brisk early morning breeze and air at 6am is pure and energising. I have not felt that since walking to take the public bus to secondary school and that was eons ago. The hike up the hill was smooth and not that taxing to this aged body. We got to the first peak with about 15 minutes to spare before the first ray of light appears behind the hills on the horizon.

2nd Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2010

I went to the event with my family on Saturday evening. Traffic was horrendous and parking was chaotic. It seems like the whole of KL-ites were in Putrajaya. Only managed to capture some balloons in flight and some with night glow. Didn't stay for the fireworks though. Well, there's always next year. ;-)

Aries K @ The Aperture Studio

The final portraiture for 2009 was the lovely Aries K. The photoshoot was done at our very own studio. She's a charm to work with and as a little advertising here in the blog, the studio is opened for rental for you all to take these kind of photos.

Cold Winter Morning

This morning was very cold, 0 degree Celsius to be exact when I went to start up the car. Frost developed over the night and this reminded me of one picture which I took.

My Favourite Beer

Many types of beers have gone through my taste buds, local beers, German beers, UK beers, but nothing has been so memorable as Fuller's Discovery from the tap which I first tasted in Ye Olde House in Havant, UK. My great boss kindly bought 2 bottles for me during his last trip here and I'm forever in his debt.

Busy Bees

Bees are wonderful living beings, especially the bumblebee. Just look at them buzzing away doing their work collecting pollen. It is a pain though to photograph them, especially when you are doing close-up photography.

Chloe S @ Bukit Jalil Park

I'm also actively involved in portraiture photography. My style tends towards natural presentation by taking advantage of what is available and doesn't rely heavily on post-processing. I will be posting portraiture of past and future when available.

As the start, this was taken not too long ago at the end of September 2009. Her name is Chloe S and it's her first time being in a photoshoot.

Nephila Antipodiana

Not for those with arachnophobia, I caught this big spider weaving its web after a rain the night before. It's by far the biggest spider I've ever seen. The web that it spun is at least 20 inches in diameter.

Lily

I've always been amazed by lilies. This was taken during my trip to Hat Yai during the Raya weekend not too long ago.
