Paris, France

As a photographer, it is always a blessing to be able to travel abroad and capture the wonders of that country. I'm considered very fortunate to have travelled  to quite a number of places in Europe. I will be updating the places I've visited in pictures as time goes by. As a start, I bring to you the Eiffel Tower during the day and night.

My Favourite Beer

Many types of beers have gone through my taste buds, local beers, German beers, UK beers, but nothing has been so memorable as Fuller's Discovery from the tap which I first tasted in Ye Olde House in Havant, UK. My great boss kindly bought 2 bottles for me during his last trip here and I'm forever in his debt.

Busy Bees

Bees are wonderful living beings, especially the bumblebee. Just look at them buzzing away doing their work collecting pollen. It is a pain though to photograph them, especially when you are doing close-up photography.

Sunset in Hayling Island, UK

Sunsets are beautiful. Every time you look at it - the splendour, the colours, the light - will amaze you without fail. While I was posted to the UK for assignments, there were ample opportunities to capture nice sunsets, since it only happens around 8 to 9pm during summer. :P

Chloe S @ Bukit Jalil Park

I'm also actively involved in portraiture photography. My style tends towards natural presentation by taking advantage of what is available and doesn't rely heavily on post-processing. I will be posting portraiture of past and future when available.

As the start, this was taken not too long ago at the end of September 2009. Her name is Chloe S and it's her first time being in a photoshoot.

The rest can be viewed here. All images taken using Olympus E-510 with ZD 50-200 f2.8-3.5 and ZD 14-54 f2.8-3.5 lenses.

Nephila Antipodiana

Not for those with arachnophobia, I caught this big spider weaving its web after a rain the night before. It's by far the biggest spider I've ever seen. The web that it spun is at least 20 inches in diameter.

Lily

I've always been amazed by lilies. This was taken during my trip to Hat Yai during the Raya weekend not too long ago.
